The 80's was a time to be alive, everything was colourful, games were hard and challenge, cartoons were legendary, anime didn't exist, food was tasty and TV was watchable....

but sadly as time moved on, things became shit, games got too easy, anime has practically destroyed all cartoons that aren't anime, food now has to be made to keep you thin with an atkins diet aproval and TV sucks

it's safe to say...our future will be shit.

lolwut? Anime has been around since the 60's, at least. And in America, too (if I remember correctly, Tetsuwan Atom and Tetsujin 28 were brought over here as Atom Boy and Gigantor not long after airing in Japan in the days of black & white). Also, there is TONS of anime that has NOTHING to do with fighting, or at least, if it is, it's not about huge hair and glowing and energy blasts.
Also, there are still some great, challenging games today, like Ninja Gaiden and Shadow of the Colossus. The only thing I could sort of agree with you on is a decline in good American animation, but there are still some neat shorts by some small companies (like "Pyrates" and "A Gentleman's Duel" by Blur Studios), and Disney's opening up it's 2D animation studios again and they said they're going to stop with those terrible direct-to-video sequels of their older classics, so I'm hoping that American animation will start to be great again soon. And as for cartoons on TV... there's still TONS of cartoons that haven't been influenced by anime at all and/or are still more popular than anime shown on TV.
And where do you live that they make all the food so people on diets can eat it? That sounds... really weird. Super-dieting is probably just a fad anyway. EVERY decade has a retarded fad or 2 (or a billion).
And most TV sucks anyway, but that's how it always was and will be, but there are still some good shows like The Colbert Report and Scrubs.
In summary- things are not particularly better or worse than they have been.

Your entire arguement has NOTHING to do with the comic.

You're correct, it had nothing to do with it. It was more directed towards your Artist's Comments.
Also, I dunno if I came off as angry or something, but just in case, I'll point out now that I'm not and wasn't, just that I thought it was kinda ridiculous to think that the 80's was this decade of pure awesome and in 20 years everything just started to suck hard or something.

I agree with most of your points.. Though I have to say.. I did not like a lot of the returns from the 80's.. For instance I hated the Turtles in the 2000's (I liked the movie though.. and the newer comics when I could afford them.).. They took something great.. and made it crappy.. >.<
